How to Export a GPX File from COROS

A custom GPS route transformed into a framed Raceline poster

Quick answer: open the activity in the COROS app, tap the three-dot menu, choose Export Data, and select GPX.

Export one COROS activity

  1. Open the COROS app and find the completed workout.
  2. Open the activity details.
  3. Tap the three dots in the top-right corner.
  4. Select Export Data.
  5. Choose GPX, then save or share the file to your computer or cloud storage.

COROS documents this workflow in its official activity export guide.

Choose GPX or FIT

Use GPX when your goal is the route line. Use FIT when you need richer workout information such as heart rate, laps, cadence, or device-recorded metrics. A poster design usually needs only the coordinates, which makes GPX the simpler and more portable option.

Our format comparison explains the trade-offs in more detail.

Bulk export is different

COROS provides historical bulk export through COROS Training Hub on desktop. Those archives are delivered by email and use FIT or TCX rather than GPX. If you need one route for a design, the individual activity export in the app is faster and avoids sharing an entire training history.

See COROS’s bulk export instructions for the account-wide workflow.

Troubleshooting

  • Confirm the workout was recorded outdoors with GPS enabled.
  • Wait for the watch and app to finish syncing.
  • If GPX is missing information needed by a training platform, export FIT instead.
  • Daily totals such as steps and continuous daily heart rate are not exported as GPX activities.

Share only what you need

Activity files may include exact locations and, depending on the format, biometric data. Upload the single route needed for your project rather than a bulk archive.

Create a print from your COROS activity

Open the Raceline custom route poster, continue to the editor, and upload the GPX. Review the design carefully before approving it for print.
